How is "Die Kasteel" (the castle) safeguarded in Cape Town?

Last time we visited Cape Town there was guards at the entrance and only a certain amount of people at a given time was allowed  - not sure if it still works that way  -  i hope so because it is a very precious collection the have on display and worth while visiting

Like historical buildings and sites. Such a pity to be ruined like that.
I hope they are looking after Castel in Cape Town.
