How can I remove "Trustedantivirus" from my computer?

Somehow this program apparently got installed on the computer at work, and we need to get rid of it. I have run Norton Antivirus but that hasn't stopped the problem. I have found various sites that offer a free program to uninstall Trustedantivirus, but how do I know if I can trust them?

well it's complicated task to distinguish rogue software from genuine and rogue websites from legitimate ones. well trustedantivirus installed itself on your computer without your permission, legal applications don't do this. besides, if you google 'trusted antivirus' you will see that many websites refer to it as malicious.
recognizing genuine website is even more difficult. well, if it looks poorly designed it's most likely not genuine as real companies invest in websites. if a website sell reputable software, you may also consider it safe, as reputable companies don't cooperate with malware websites.
if you don't feel comfortable in trying new security tools, don't. you can remove trusted antivirus manually as well. here's trustedantivirus removal instructions:

I got rid of a similar problem on mine yesterday with this answer from a kind person :

add/remove doesn't work.
I fixed mine with this answer:

Get superantispyware Free Edition...its the best for spyware and malware...

then get Avast! Home Edition (is free) for anitvirus and run the scans and you should be fine

It works, it's as easy as 1-2-3 (even I could do it ) and is 100% free

I would recommend that you go to www.downloads.com and search for avg anti-virus. It is a free virus tool. I have found that it works just as good as anything that you pay for. once you download it go ahead and install it on your machine and then run it. When you finish running the program, restart your computer in safe mode and run avg again. It should clear up your problem. Restart in normal mode.
There is also a program called ccleaner. this program is also free and is pretty good at cleaning up your system. Good luck.
