Who will Paul Tracy drive for this season?

Now that one of CART/Champ Car's most successful drivers, Paul Tracy, is now on the market-his Forsythe Championship Racing team has ceased operations for this season-which IRL team will pick him up on such short notice?

Paul Tracy without a ride since the merger announcement? Vision will almost assuredly pick him up. Nobody can let one of the most recognizable drivers in open wheel slip through the cracks. If not Vision (of course owned by Tony), then KV still has a spot open. I just can't believe that anyone would let him go to the ALMS.

He will bring money to the table and Foyt Racing may be the team which would fit him for a seat in a hot-rod. Tony George will be working extra hours to make sure displaced CHAMP Car drivers will have the opportunity to drive full-time in the series. If that isn't a possibility, then the merger means next to nothing.

PT is a vociferous one, for sure, and it would be a shame if he doesn't get a ride this year. Most are betting that Vision will pick him up, but it's not a given...

At one point, Paul stated that he was "not interested in driving those crapwagons" and will have a bit of a time convincing a team that he's their man.

I hope they all let bygones be bygones, and he's in the field soon -- he's a riot to watch!

Solid question-I think Tracy can bring some good sponsors with him, especially since the Canadian economy is booming and he's now the best know active Canadian driver. Therefore I think he will get a ride.

If anybody here is from Canada they would know that there is Tim Hortons (coffee business), thats in every corner of every street and they could be his sponsor.

Ive always wondered why Timmie's never sponsored big name athletes.

But yeah i think tim hortons should be his sponsor, they definetly have the money.
