Mukasey refuses probe of Bush aides when will Pelosi stop waisting our time and money pursuing this?

If no crime has been committed, isn't it a waist of time and money to pursue this any farther? Is this another example of an enept Democrat controlled Congress?

Kelly B- we know there was no crime because the AG stated it when he said would not present a case regaurding Miers and Bolton to the Grand Jury

Kelly B, "how do we know no crime was committed"? Because U.S. Attorney's serve at the pleasure of the President of the United States. Had the administration came out and said "We've decided to fire these 8 people so that 8 others may serve in their place", nothing would have been said about it. I'll even grant you that it was a political move, if you grant that the firing of all but one U.S. Attorney by a previous administration was equally political, therefore equally criminal.

Be nice to her. She evidently missed American Government in the 8th Grade, and doesn't understand separation of powers or the fact that such attorneys can be fired at will at any time for any reason other than for race, creed, or color.

I prefer to think of her as ignorant rather than as a rich-pig Marxist operative.

How do we know that no crime has been committed if there was no trial or presentation of evidence?

This is another cronyism ploy by another Bush appointee!

There is no oversight against the Bush White House!

Well no its not a waste of time , questions between the executive and legislative branch often have to be settled by the courts.
