Charity is great, but until a society views itself as a mutually-supportive community-and pays taxes accordingly- then little progress will be made. The Danes have the highest taxes and are the happiest people in the world-correlation?

My friend was awarded one of those scholarships and it pays for everything. Tuition, room & board, books, fees, etc...throughout undergrad and graduate school! He's set for life. :)
