Hey music lovers...I'm searching for old psychedelic bands of the 60's 70's?
I'm putting together a smart collection of old psychedelic bands of the 60's and 70's as like "Bloodrock", "Three Dog Night", "Rare Earth", and of course Pink Floyd which if for those of you out there can only identify with Floyd...well, that's the groovy sound I'm looking for man. So give me what ya got! Peace love and microdot.

The 60's were, by far, the best, about a ten year period, the golden age of Rock... Mid 60's to mid 70's By the mid 70's, there was already some awful stuff on the AM radio, and that trend has continued to this day. Some exceptions may be Kiss, Jefferson Starship, and Eagles, but by then things had moved to FM.

Jimi Hendrix Experience - What can you say? Blue Cheer - one hit wonders - best (in my opinion) version of "Summertime Blues" ever (and there's been plenty). King Crimson Cream (only time I've really liked Eric Clapton) It's A Beautiful Day - try 'em, you'll like 'em. Beatles (that's right!) - from "Rubber Soul" to the end. Grateful Dead - not my fav but psychedelic for sure. Jefferson Airplane Yes Led Zeppelin Steve Miller - the album "Sailor" only - excellent! Bob Dylan - "Another Side Of B.D.", "Bringing It All Back Home", "Hwy 61 Revisited", and "Blonde On Blonde". You might not think of him as psychedelic, but I do (mostly these four albums) and at the top - The Beatles took "Sgt. Pepper" to him for his opinion. I'm not making this up.
Window Pane and Purple Blotter forever. Forget Orange Sunshine.
Note on "Strawberry Alarm Clock" Pseudo-Psychedelic-Pop posers. "Incense And Peppermints" was their big "hit", BTW.
