If a telephone conversation is recorded, do I have the right to a written copy of the conversation in New York

A collection agency that informs me that my conversation is being recorded made a deal with me, then got my money, and nixxed the deal. I want a transcript of the recording to present to a lawyer. Do I have a legal right to request the transcript or a copy of the recording?

Have you ever heard of missing transcripts? You can request it but those agencies often play dirty. Your chances of getting them would be next to zero. You could ask you lawyer what options you may have.
