mystery water in our fridge...?

Our refrigerator, a new-ish whirpool, leaks water internally. We have both the freezer and fridge set to the ideal setting, according to the dial, and there's no ice built up in the freezer. On the roof our the fridge, toward the back, there is some type of coil that has been barely covered over with ice and is dripping and we end up with an inch or so of water in our crisper drawers and sometimes it leaks on to the floor of our kitchen when we open the door. We have tried adjusting the temp both cooler and warmer, without any luck. Any ideas ? Also, the freezer has a built in ice maker, but is missing parts and no currently in use and the unit is stacked.

You should clean it up before your wonderful, loving, trash taking out husband slips on it and fractures his neck.

at the inside center back somewhere is a small cup /bowl shaped piece of plastic.grab onto it firmly & pull it away straight back& out of the wall of the fridge. clean it & the hole you pulled it out of. you need pipe
cleaner for the hole in the fridge wall. vacuum the coils off at the back & check the pan at the bottom. clean if necessary.

Normal but it shouldn't be leaking. It's how the refrigerator cools things, it's basically condensation. I would talk to where you bought it from.
