Does anyone know if the rumours are true surrounding the University of the Free State?
Apparently all whites and Afrikaners are to be removed from the campus housing. Can anyone give me any info on the situation? Is this email I got today even true?

I don't know as yet, I saw the article, but I can believe it, its happened here in Natal on so many occasions. One wonders, if one had t compare the other Universaties and the trouble they have had over the years as apposed to UFS with their segregation system. I know here in KZN we have had numerous riots as with other Universaties, but you barely hear of the UFS in situations like this, I was there in 2006 for the IPG Games, and actually wanted to move to Bloemfontein. I like Bloemfontein. I spent a lot of time in the townships and was amazed how safe it was and how friendly the people were.
I left the cars doors unlocked with stock of T-Shirts, coldrinks and various foods, beside the odd child (under 10) who showed interest, everyone left the stuff alone.

That is not true at all. I think it is all propaganda and someone is trying to make the situation worse than it is already.

Some people like to pour fuel to the fire.......that university is going through a tough time and these rumours do nothing to resolve the situation.........I haven't seen the email....I checked with all news agencies....Nothing!!!!!!!

I think it is just a nonsense e- mail, people keep on causing trouble on purpose.
