i get a funny feeling that most people just (thought they've) read it and answer... coz the answer are somewhat miss the question. what are the consideration for you answering questions? was it for point? or you do think you can contribute, help solving people's mystery?

I am BORED - not BOARD - so I answer questions while at work, but when I get home I am usually too busy. I'll answer ANY question, but I'll honestly answer the ones that I feel that I can contribute to. Sometimes (if I think that it's a particularly inane question), I'll give a "joke" answer, but usually I'll give honest answers.
You're right, a lot of people do not even really read the questions. I do, because, while usually they clarify the question, sometimes the asker's ADDITIONAL DETAILS contradict what the original question was, so I answer BOTH questions.
And sometimes, the WAY a person asks his question is so ludicrous that I will assume that he meant to ask something else, but STILL answer both questions - the one he has written and the one that I assume that he meant to ask.
Some people call everyone who doesn't agree with them A**h***s, and while I may slam answers, I will never slam the PERSON who gave those answers.
It depends on my mood and the question. Sometimes I respond in a short and funny way and other days I go into great detail and I am very serious. Some times when I see a real goofy question I give a real goofy answer. Sometimes I like to make sure they have the best answer that I can give and other times I am sure that I am messing with their minds and they will be even more confused then before they asked the question.
Good question, and yes I do read them, unless they turn to nonsense and become too difficult to read. I am on answers out of boredom, usually sit with my morning coffee and that is it. So yes, I read, then answer. I actually try to offer knowledge and insight of questions I answer. I do not care about points in the least. For example, I am and have been a Nurse Recruiter for way over 10 years so I answer questions pertaining to the Nursing Business that I am familiar with. Or dogs since I have one of those too for more than 15 years. Why do you answer and ask on Yahoo? Have a good one! I relate to your question. Some answer with complete nonsense. A lot of kids too I think.
I find some people miss the point of my questions. So I get abusive answers or people think my question was OTT. As a trained teacher I can't understand why people don't READ THE QUESTION!
