My neighbors and I are coming together against armed robbery. What should we look out for.?
We are constantly subjected to nightmarish armed robbery experiences sometimes with irrepaarable and unfortunate consequences. They cant be stopped by dog and anyway not everyone can afford guard dogs. It takes time to get the police and military patrol team to even locate your house.
We have started meetings and are thinking of things we can do to facilitate patrol work and also add to our protection.
These guys are brutal. Haranguing stories told at our meetings are full of how young people between 16 and 26 hold pple their parents' ages lives to ransom and treat them anyhow their drug infested but intelligent whims dictate.
What should we work on as a community? What should we be on the look out for? What should we be doing?

Start your own Neighborhood Watch Program.
Contact your local law enforcement agency's Community Services Team.
Telephone the installation commander informing him of your concerns and lack of response from the military side.
It's YOUR neighborhood...stand up for what's right and be willing to get completely involved in making it a great place to live!
Normally, they make the person serve out his sentence and then deport the person. A valid green card is no protection - it will be revoked because of the crimes committed. Green cards only allow a person to work in the USA, they don't offer blanket immunity against deportation in the event of criminal acts. Chances are he will not be granted a bond. These are serious charges, and the fact he is not a citizen makes it doubtful he'll get out. From the looks of things, his second trial hasn't taken place. It's too early to tell how much time he will have to serve. __ Parole? As in parole in the US? No chance I'm afraid. This is seriously deep trouble. He'll be facing deportation when his sentence is complete.
Many police departments have officers that will come out into the community to help you with a neighborhood watch type program. They would be the best resource I could recommend to help you with this question.
