It is for me. Having been hunted and falsely accused to the point of a suspension, anyone who does not send me an introduction is now automatically and immediately blocked. I have been forced to do so in the past 2 months, and anyone who knows me, knows full well how much that bothers me. But I am not willing to sacrifice contact with the friends I have made on here simply because some yaidiot has no sense of humour and a weird case of jealousy. You should always check a person's profile before you add them anyway. Makes sense to me.....Show more

It depends. If you value being at a high level, you're going to want to be cautious. Low levels you might want to be a little cautious because you don't want to start out on the wrong foot with a new account adding the bad people....Show more

I generally don't add people, they add me. I would prefer an email, as opposed to just adding me...

Just like BennBJ, I've had too many problems and it's difficult to stay afloat at times....Show more

I have had way too many people add me just to troll me and my contacts....
Only users I already know and know well may add me without permission....I am really tired of loosing accounts over nonsense....
