Final Fantasy Versus XIII comes out in Dec. of 08. Is it worth getting the PS3 just for a few games? I mean its not like those are the only games i'm going to play but is the PS3 worth it? I would rent one but the only place i can find that lets you rent consoles is rent-a-center, which is more expensive than the system itself. Should I get the PS3? The price will have dropped by Dec., so it should be a few bucks cheaper. Thanks in advanced.

Buy the Ps3, if you want real bang for your buck get it on june 12th which will be the day the MGs4 bundle comes out which is an 80gb with Mgs4 and a dual shock 3, and yes its worth getting any system for a few games, you'll only get more, i got my ps2 just for Kingdom Hearts, and by the time i put it to rest i had a library of over 50 games lol, also the ps3 is the best blu ray player which is a nice plus

Get it because you never know what might happen to a PS3.
Like for example, Sony might want to cut prices and make a PS3 that doesn't read PS1 or PS2 games! Plus you should get it now because great games are coming this summer.
