Lop sided seat?

I've only just noticed but I think I lean to my right when in the saddle. I was riding on two different horses and noticed my left hip starting to really hurt. The 13.2 pony that I ride at my riding school is kinda leany but I didn't think it was that much. When I asked my instructor she said my position was fine, but one of the owners of the other horses I ride did say I was slightly off balance. So has any one got any ideas on how to straighten myself up?

Well, first check to make sure your stirrups are the same length. A way to help improve your balance would be to ride bareback or without stirrups.

maybe you stirrups are two different lengths. make sure to check them before getting on. They may be on the same number but if you always are getting up from the left side and using your stirrup it can stretch and the one will be longer than the other.

I have the same exact problem!!
My stirrups will be the exact same length and all. I'm pretty sure one leg is longer than the other, lol.

well you could lean a bit to the left or imagine you have a broom taped to your back so you have to sit up straight
