Yes i did, I did not think about abortion when i was watching the movie. But it did have a anti abortion feel to it.

And the quote at the end " A person is a person no matter how small" That just brought up abortion in my head, I do not know why.

Yeah, along with the butter battle. The butter battle was definitely a reflection of the cold war. But, I didn't really get the anti abortion message of Horton. Although it definite has a "Right to Life" theme I thought it was more directed toward children not hurting smaller creatures. Like Jeffrey Dahmer killing small animals before graduating to people. Trivia Note: About Dr. Suess, he really wasn't very fond of children (like Mr. Rogers, or Capt. Kangaroo)
