Why is a wireless router cheaper then an access point?

I will link both products i'm looking at on the bottom of this. I'm an IT so keep stupid answers to yourself your not fooling anyone. I don't have much experience with wireless yet but I'm about to put an access point in at work for 2 laptops. What i don't get is the wireless router is 15 dollars cheaper. The router is itself an access point/4 port switch/router. While the access point is just that and thats all it is. Any insitful information would be great thanks.

Because access points tend to be used in business rather than home settings.

Your question is a business marketing question, rather than an IT question...so I will take the liberty to respond. My business opinion is: New Market Entry for a new product.
