If God created female second, then where did all the female animals come from?

Were there only male animals until God created Eve, or did he make them at the same time?

If it's the second one, then why would God make a male human and not a female? How could he expect man not to have his own mate when all the animals did?

Well, you know what they say: Always practice before you create perfection :)

God created all the animals, so that means male and female. He then created Adam. Adam was living by himself, but felt lonely. So He asked God "hey, what's up with this?" Then God created Eve. God always says how important women are, so I think this is just another example. God wanted Adam to realize how important and special Eve would be, so that he would treat her how she should be treated.

We are created in His image not from His imagination. Hence we has physical form but is a perfect, immortal being. He is male. The scriptures do call Him Father, Abba, etc., so one can assume he is male. Some have argued that the female was created second and implied that they are second class creations. This would make it sound like the woman is just a slightly altered form of man. I believe the woman was created from the rib of man to show that she is Man's equal. Gender must exist in Heaven for why does it exist here? Since there is a Father in Heaven, why not a Mother in Heaven? The woman could have been created in her image by God. Let's also recognize the woman was the last great work of God during the Creation.

God created all the animals. If you look closely at the first chapter of Genesis you will the see the words "all after their kind" God created male and female initially. Then he had Adam care for the animals. I believe he wanted Adam to see his need for a companion and helpmate. An all-knowing God is never surprised. Don't limit God to human means or elevate the human to be equal with God.

females weren't created after adam, the female human was. because adam looked around at all the beasts with their mates of their kind, and then God said it is not good for man to be alone i will give him a helper.

Genesis 2:23 And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.

God set eve aside for a reason, their marriage signifies something greater between God and His people, His children, those who are born of the Spirit.

Gen 1:21 And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind:
Gen 1:25 And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind:
Gen 1:27 So God created man in his [own] image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
