Bengals fans...?

Just want to start by saying I have been a huge Bengals fan since the mid 80's. Does any fan of the Bengals want them to trade Chad Johnson just so you dont have to hear about it anymore. I am so sick of his cry baby @$$! I don't want them to trade him anywhere good, I say Atlanta or Kansas City. See if he can get anywhere near the stats he got in Cincy, seeings that is all he cares about. Plus if we could get a first round pick, hello Vernon Gholsten. I would even settle to trade him to the Bears for Devin Hester and a second. What do you think?

The Bengals could have TJ as the #1 and Chris Henry as their number 2. They could then draft a D-lineman at the 3 or 4 spot and the best receiver on the board at nine and put him at the 3 receiver spot. This would help the Defense and not totally disrupt the offense. Marvin Lewis said today that the Bengals are going to go back to running the ball next season anyway. I have a problem with that cuz I think the Bengals RB's are horrible. Kenny Irons won't be ready for camp, who knows what is going on with Chris Perry and Rudi Johnson flat out sucks.

Bonnie, that is a very good answer! They dont NEED him to succeed. Everyone would be able to relax and get things done if they aren't worrying what Chad is saying now. I never thought I would say I would be happy to see Chad leave, as of right now, good bye you cry baby!

I've been a Bengals fan as long as I can recall. I was born in 64 and they got a team in 68, so ever since I was quite young. I am sick of the way Chad is treating his teammates and city, and I think he can just sit out pouting all season if he wants. We don't need that.

I think with the new DC, and with some of the additions we're making on defense, we will be in the thick of it. The funny thing is, Chad said he "wants to play for a winner." Wouldn't it be funny if he sat out and the Bengals went all the way without him. It would be just desserts if you ask me.

Personally, I would prefer to keep him.

Before last season he was not a distraction, and the media made it a big deal. I ALMOST understand his frustration.

BUT...we can't afford to trade him, regardless of the offer. * million on the salary cap if we do, for one thing (vs about 3 mil if he stays), and really...where do we find an equivolant receiver to replace him with? He is one of the top 5 in the league, and even if there was a great one to draft, it'll take years to groom him.

Once we start winning again, Chad will shut up.

As for Gholston... I agree. But we should trade our third round opick (we got 4 comp picks anyhow, including one or two thirds) and move up in the first round to get him. I am sure someone in the 3-5 spots would be willing to trade.

Tehn draft Trevor Laws in the second. That will do more to fix our needs AND assuage Chad than anything.

*To qoute coach lewis as of today...chad has two coices, play for the Bengals til 2011, or retire...... sounds like a plan to me.

I think its a great idea. The Bengals need a return man to put less presure on the offense and they need a d-lineman after they lost justin smith

I'm pushing for the Lito Shepard + picks for Ocho Cinco.
It's a win -win.
