With the recent cell phone use scare (can cause brain cancer), do I need to worry about using my laptop on my?
lap with my wireless card in it....I mean, it's receiving the same signals and gets warm, like they warn about with the phone...are we all going to have to take a second look at this???
oh now this topic does annoy me so much- it entirely depends upon how much you use your devices- if you use your moblie phone 24 hours a day with it permantly attached to your earhole then yes you are likely to get brain cancer- but sending the odd text or the odd phonecall probably will increase your risk but not to the levels that are publicised by the media. the most damage you will do with your laptop is burning your skin if you keep it on your lap- the signal from a wireless card is not sufficently high enough to do any long term damage- maybe if you attach it to your head then yes it could do something or another, but otherwise no
with the levels of use for most normal people, i strongly believe that you do not need to build a radiation chamber with gloves attached to use your laptop!!
Unless the FCC has lowered the standards for Part 15, Class B Digital Devices for shielding RF emissions from home use electronics, I don't believe you need be worried.
Keep your laptop off your lap and keep your paws off it. Never know what it might affect. Wait a minute, dogs don't have a lap to put a puter on, just one they use to drink with.
ummm...errrrr... I'm not looking at anything. I'm married for goodness sake. Put your laptop on the desk or the table. I have a funny feeling this could lead to problems in the bedroom.
