hearing rumours that disney purchased a messload of land in louisiana...anybody know anything about it?
this is something recent that just popped up that supposedly disney just bought 2000 acres in Walker, La. which is outside Baton Rouge, with plans to buy 3000 more

The Parish President has hinted about it. Saying that Disney has had plans for Livingston Parish since the 1950's. Maybe it is just to stir up some gossip, but who knows.

Sound alot like the rumors that have been flying around Texas for the past 20 years.
Also, there maybe some confusion because of Six Flags New Orleans (which has been closed since Katrina). It is rumored that Six Flags might be looking to sell that property.

Sounds like another one of the usual rumors saying that Disney is buying land in other states to build a new park.
Disney won't be building another park in the USA.

there was rumors that they got land in sydney australia. but they have no plans for any new theme parks anywhere in the world .but they are going to build entertainment area's around the world like downtown disney with cinemas and hotels .so maybe thats what they have planned
