Remove a band from each decade?

If you could completely remove a band from the following decades, who would it be, and why? Or, if you think the band should have been, or would have been better in a different decade, you can list that too. Basically, who didn't fit?

1960s
1970s
1980s
1990s
And now.

And, if you have no clue, say something to make me laugh. I need it. Have a great day! =]

Favorite Answer

1960's : The Beatles ( can't stand them, just like 80's Man can't stand The Stones.. lol)

1970's: hmm, tough one, but if I had to pick, I would say Pink Floyd, they are just too burnout for me

1980's: Heart, they were great in the 70's... but just declined in the 80's

1990's: Nirvana... too overrated

00's: My Chemical Romance, do I really need to explain?

1960s: Ten Years After should be placed in the 80s, very similar style to Van Halen.

1970s: The Cramps were way before their time, music hasn't even caught up with them yet in my opinion.

1980s: Stray Cats should move back to the 50s, them playing rockabilly and all.

1990s: The Gits should move back to the 70s, they are like the punk version of The Runaways with Mia Zapata's vocals.

now: Yeah Yeah Yeahs should move back to the 60s, very spaced out music with a lot of garage influence.

70's..Eh, Grateful Dead? More like 60's I suppose...well, later, but, just...not a big fan? Not to say others should suffer because of that.

80's...Rick Astley. Well, for short, the Rick Roll song...No explanation needed. The dancing in that movie is epic though.

90's..Limp Bizkit and them forming. Terrible...lol. Spawned a generation of rap/rock kids to later decimate music even further. MTV spring break song of choice if I remember correctly. Either that, or the macarena.

Present? Nickleback. Need I say more? Or Chris Daughtry. His voice...The same as every other rock singer on the radio. "I'mmmahh COMINNN HOMMEEE" With emphasis on the word pain, it's hilarious it just comes off as jovial. "This pain is a different kind of pain..oh man this pain.."

great question.
I would love to take massive bands from the 60's like the Beatles and dump them in the 90's to see how they would be accepted now-a-days...then again would bands around today sound the way they do without the influence of bands like the Beatles in previous decades....aaargh my brain hurts.

Anyway I would get rid of:
1960's- its difficult uuum...Barbara Streisand (yes she was around back then! and she was rubbish!!!!)
1970's-The Bee Gees...yuck, they just sound as if their jeans were way too tight...which they were from the of some of the pictures.
1980's-ABBA...truly horrible, I know most people like them but I just think they are rubbish...dunno why, oh yeah...and Madonna
1990's- too many to mention, not a great decade for music...I would have to say...U2, don't get me wrong they are a pretty good band (overrated) but it was there early stuff which was good, when Bono head exploded under the weight of his ego in the 90's their music got rubbish.

Bands I would like to move to different decades-
Jimmi Hendrix Experience- like to move forom the 60's the 40' or 50's...can you imagine, a black man, playing crazy loud electric guitar in that era....it would blow their faces off!!!hahaha

Get rid of the following Band and thereby exponentially increase the awesomeness of each decade by at least 100%

The 1950's
Elvis Presley

The 1960's
The Beach Boys

The 1970's
Bruce Springsteen

The 1980's
Bon Jovi

The 1990's
Pearl Jam

The 2000's
Nickelback

Goodbye Crap!!
