I download videos from YouTube with DownloadHelper and then convert them into .avi with SUPER, but they still have a .flv extension. I know Windows Movie Maker recognizes .flv as video, but Sony Vegas 6 recognizes it as AUDIO-which is bad.
Do you know any movie makers that still have .flv as video? And probably, it automatically splits them into short clips?

U need to convert the video to wmv or avi format that can be imported to windows movie maker.

Maybe you can try another coonverter, Moyea flv to video converter.
I'm using it for a long time and it works very well.
