Wearing jeans for lessons is not a bad thing but, a pair of jeans that are not blue jeans would be better. One thing about golf is etiquette rules. The first year learning to golf involves as much knowledge about club selection as it does about proper etiquette. But, hang in there because good etiquette is really appreciated on the course. You will love golfing with someone who does not move around, who doesn't walk in your line or who doesn't talk during your backswing! Most courses require collared shirts for guys and no blue jeans ever fyi.

You want to wear something that is comfortable. I would suggest wearing a pair of khakis pants and a polo shirt. Most golf courses do not allow jeans and require a shirt with a collar. Again, be comfortable, wear something you can move in. Wear comfortable shoes as well. You will do a lot of walking. I like to wear layers when I go golfing because as the match goes on the weather can change. Bring lots of spare golf balls and good luck!

You cannot wear jeans golfing. It doesnt look good and it would be uncomfortable. I wear bermudas (plaid or solid color) wear a polo unless you're wearing one of those tight under armor shirts (i wear those 2) u can also wear a skirt..... one 4 sports (like a tennis skirt but there are golf skirts) u can wear a hat but u dont have 2. If u dont have golf shoes wear tennis/running shoes. sumtimes (like @ sports authority) u can find golf shoes on clearance 4 a good price. hope this helps nd hope ur lesson goes well..... keep it up! dont give up! golf is a great sport!
