I asked what was the best pokemon gameboy game and most people said pokemon crystal. But I went to wikipedia and checked out pokemon emerald and it looks really cool...

yup. I have a gameboy advance ^^
two say crystal, 8 say emerald... it's tough, though. I can only find used ones... and even If I do find new ones they're like, 30$!

Crystal is the previous generation to Emerald. Fewer pokemon, different world... some people like the changes to the nextgen (emerald), others don't.
Personally, I don't like the nextgen changes. Crystal is my favorite, but I'm downloading a pokemon Yellow rom (I can't find my actual game :( ) for nostalgia's sake :P But Crystal is best, IMO

Id say emerald to get the feel of the game first, then move to crystal if you liked it. Aand i think emerald is only on gameboy advanced if i remember correctly.
