what is an acre tract? i know what an acre is but i was wondering if there was a difference? im interested in

some land i seen in the paper but it says 5.17 acre tract. so i was wondering what the 'tract' part means. thanks for your help!

Tract just means a parcel of land. Usually indicates too that a larger property has been divided up for development.
