Can Claritin-D make you feel "good"?

I took some last night for my allergies, and I started to feel so good last night, and I couldn't figure out why I felt that way. Sort of floaty and happy. I later remembered that I had taken the Claritin-D. Could that have caused this? I was also completely unable to sleep, even though I felt extremely sleepy. That was pure torture.

Claritin-D contains pseudoephedrine (an anticongestant) which was the predecessor in the synthesis of methamphetamine (street name: speed), a psychostimulant drug.
