Where can I recycle VHS video cassettes in the UK?
Do any charities accept the cassettes? They are not pre recorded tapes, they are ones I have taped TV programmes onto.

I doubt any recycler would take your tapes but a thrift shop or second-hand store might, they can be recorded over so you could possibly find a place to take them as a donation. It might be be helpful to erase them first and you're less likely to violate any ordinance if you've recorded copyrighted material, too.
