why do people who are morally against tattoos come to the tattoo?

section to gripe about and demean those who like them?!most of the people here aren't asking 'should i get it? what would the ramifications be?' but thats how some people answer!

Many people see questions when they pop up on the home page and feel inclined to give "opinion". There are a lot who never answer the question (not even sure they read it) but use it as a way to get on a soap box give their sage advice about why tattoos are so horrible.
Nothing like non-tattooed people giving advice.

I think these people need to save their time. As I've been reading through the questions in the tattoo section, I've seen some people giving really bad advice. You can tell when people are commenting about tattoo care that don't even have tattoos and all their telling you to do is care for it as a basic cut. It's horrible that some people might take their advice and end up worse off than they were before.

not one of them and actually have a tattoo but i would think they want to prevent people from making a mistake or regretting getting the tattoo. but if they really want it then there should be no stopping the person who wants one from getting one.
i don't understand why they would answer in this section if they don't like tattoos, maybe just for the free points.

That's a question for the ages. Why people can't just stick to the sections that interest them is beyond me. I don't think anyone will ever fully understand why people do such things.

Something in the bible about graven images....

Get, or don't get a tattoo based on what you want. Obviously, it's permanent...so think of yourself in X number of years and still wanting the tattoo and enjoying it.
