go onto your recieved files and it should have a folder saying something like the first words of your im address and a bunch of numbers, click on that, then history, then find the address of the person you were talking to and it should come up with your whole conversatiosn xx

i am not sure about msn messenger but you can do that on yahoo messenger. Until last week, I had instant messages dating back to March 2005, saved in the archives section of yahoo messenger.
But then i did a restore disk recovery, on hard drive and it was all gone. I never needed such old things anyway.

If you have logging enabled, go into the menu and look for chatlogs.
If not, then it's a little late now, I'm afraid to say.

you can choose to save all conversations..........but if you have closed them and dont save them well nope
