Ok dont gey me wrong, I strongly believe in God, but the other day by friends asked me a question and I couldn't come up with an answer.So here goes...If God can do anything,he can make an indistuctable rock right?!?!Well then can he break it?Because he can do anything but he would have to do one or the other....what are your opinions?!?!

The problem with this is it would require an all logical God to do something very illogical. God would cease to be God if He attempted something so illogical.

My opinion is that God doesn't have to do one or the other, He's God. He has nothing to prove to anyone.
Just because someone comes up with yet another "tail chasing" and meaningless paradox, does not mean that God is going concede to our 'superior intellect', now is He?

Please show me where it says God can do anything? He can't. Definition of omnipotent as a being who can do 'anything' is inherently self contradictory and illogical. There are lots of things he can't do. He can't lie, cheat, steal, cease to be God, etc. So what does it mean to be Omnipotent then? It means he has all power to accomplish his purposes and no other power or influence can stop it.

I don't think the bible says God can do anything some people do but can God lie can he cheat can he steal can he mislead you can he break a promise..
