Why answer a question if youre not answering the question?
by that i mean... IF you dont drink, why answer a question about drinking and start it with "i don't drink, but..." but what? i mean, if you don't drink, why bother answering, if the question is ABOUT drinking? Or if you see a question about being pregnant, and youre a single guy, why are you answering? just to make a silly remark? I dont get the point... maybe im missing something.

Probably for a variety of reasons. To be funny, to be contrary, for the points, to be noticed, who knows. The answers that always amaze me are the Yankee haters who know nothing about baseball so they resort to the infamous comment, "Yankees suck". Now that's an answer none of us need! lol
I really do think the deciding factor is the underlying suicide of our national economy along with a presidential race being run by foreign powers to cover up obvious alien and UFO occurrences witnessed in the downtown New York City area during the past St Patricks Day parade because everyone was drinking EXCEPT the idiot who was sitting at home in their boxer shorts dropping asinine answers on Yahoo Answers simply to annoy the hell out of The Kimmer which is, in my personal opinion, is just stupid.
It seems that when the question is about a "vice" such as drinking, 95% of the answers that start out that way are using the topic as an excuse to preach. Can't say I care to read those "answers".
Seeing is believing and its not that u don't drink and u cannot talk about drinking. I can answer questions about poverty doesn't mean that i am poor and i have gone through poverty and only then i can answer about poor people and poverty. What we see is enough to convert it into belief. only answering for points is nothing as u r not getting any financial benefit from it . Those who know u can answer and answer well they know it .(asker
