Chris Daughtry loses american idol, yet his album was the all time hit for 2007?

Don't you think how ironic and funny it is that Chris Daughtry of American Idol had lost to Taylor Hicks, yet Daughtry's album was the "all time hit" for 2007? I mean, wow, what ever happened to Hicks?

I am i HUGE fan of Daughtry and i bought his album immediately when it came out :D but at the same time when i bought it, i never exactly knew that Daughtry LOST. i was surprised when one of my friends told me that someone won over him. I never even knew who this Hicks guy was. never heard his music ever, not even now.

What are your thoughts about that???

Chris came in 4th place but we knew as Daughtry fans that he didn't need to win IDOL to be huge :)  4 million sold etc its all good :)   Chris's music is radio friendly and very catchy! Taylors music wasn't main stream!

Yeah, Chris Daughtry came in like in 5th place on Idol and Taylor Hicks won.  Chris is amazing.  I really liked Taylor Hicks at the time, but wow...never hear anything about him.
