has anyone found a site that has proven that installing a high performance exhaust system on a given vehicle increased its gas mileage? or has anyone done this to their vehicle and seen an increase?
i need to justify a $385.00 flowmaster exhaust system to the wife before i buy it.

It won't increase you gas mileage enough to warrant the price of the system and you know if you have a good sounding exhaust on your vehicle you are going to make it make some noise so you will be using more gas.

I use a dual Flowmaster exhaust with free-flow catalytic
converters on my 347 Mustang. I don't get any better gas
mileage. The sound it makes is psychological, I want to
step on the gas more! I'm sorry, I don't know of any sites.

with intake and exhaust on my S10 4 banger im getting at least 3 more mpg. It will get you better gas millage.

yes, flowmaster exhaust is really good with performance and gas mileage, its worth it, thats all i run on my vehicals
