Little trivia question- I just learned it and thought it was a neat thing to notice players I have caddied for with the "I have played Augusta" clothing.
I need to add there is a differance in a "masters" shirt, and an Augusta shirt...what is it?

The Augusta National shirts are striped.

Playing Augusta is a rare occurrence since the membership is very restricted, the guests quite rare and very few outsiders get to play the course. Chances are better to get a shirt mentioning the US Open. Many who are heavily involved with the USGA on a national level have a very hard time getting an invitation to play.

I bought a "Agusta National" shirt at the Salvation Army used clothing store and wear it everytime I play golf...so don't be too impressed when you see someone wearing them...
