Is it okay to ask people to vote for best answer on questions?
So, I was wondering, some of the questions that I've answered just keep on being unresolved . . . is it okay to ask a question with links inside that asks people to vote on them?

You have a good idea, but not everybody chooses best answers. I was thinking about those that have already gone into voting.

Yes, you can ask people to choose "best answer" on unresolved question so long as you don't ask them to vote for your answer.
I've had stuff stuck in voting for ages where I finally forward the link to people and just ask them to pick an answer, any answer, just so we can break the tie.
I've seen people post here in this category and, in the question details, provide links to the unresolved questions while in the "main part" of the question asking "Can anyone break these ties or resolve these questions?"
Funny this was exactly what i was thinking just a few minutes back.. i mean so many questions keep being unresolved!
But what you suggest is a lot of work in my opinion.. and i think the one who asks the question is the best person to choose the best answer as they will choose the one that made best sense , was most useful etc.
So, what you can do is, whenever you give an answer at the end add a line "Choose best answer yourself and get 3 points back! :) "
