Not knowing exactly what the ceramic cat looks like and not knowing of any company logos that might help to identify it, all I can do is point you in a possible direction to look. Try looking on the Royal Crown Derby, Royal Copenhagen or Royal Doulton ceramic sites.
Don't look only for the R-1742 product ID because companies sometimes rename product lines.
