Like Minuature Collie and a Dachshund? Mixed breed!
The reason I was asking is I had a mixed breed just like this one when I was younger and loved that dog! We had to have him put to sleep because of a tumor and was wondering if someone breed dogs like this! Like other mixed breeds!"

No, anyone who did that would be terribly irresponsible. You would also be a fool to buy a mongrel puppy from someone, especially with the kinds of rates people charge for "designer dogs." If you want a mixed breed, go to a shelter. They have every mixed breed under the sun, and at most shelters they cost less than $100!

First off, there is NO 'miniature collie". Secondly, if there was such a place, it would deserve to be wiped out of existence. No RESPONSIBLE breeder would EVER do something so so..so..reprehensible!!!! Dogs are not science projects for you to muddle up the breeding of. Gads!!! Only a total asshole would want a business like that!
ADDED: While no dog will ever be exactly like the one you lost, even a cloned one wouldn't, you can find this mix I guarantee on www.petfinder.com. Look under "sheltie" and also under "dachshund". Our rescue took in one once we are relatively sure was a dachshund/sheltie mix that was pregnant. The ups looked like the sire was probably chihuahua.

Go to a shelter or rescue. You can find any combination of mixed breed dog there. The are litterally DYING to get out of there. Please choose one of them.
