He's just bargaining for more money where he is. Personally, though, I wish he would be traded to Milwaukee or Minnesota or somewhere else with a cold winter and more hockey fans than basketball fans.

i'm guessing after the lakers lose, he pulls a tracy mcgrady and starts crying on national television. but instead of just saying "i can't do this anymore" he'll say "i want to be traded, my team sucks"
...and then the lakers will win the championship the next year without him.
