What does it mean?

Occasionally I have a really scary dream.
It's almost as if I wake up in the dream. Everything is totally black. I cannot see anything.
I am usually terrified.
I cannot speak or move.
I'm just paralized in the darkness.
I try to speak, scream even and nothing.

Oh yeah, the last 2 times, I knew right away I was dreaming so I was trying to move what I thought was my physical body, in hope that I would wake up.
And this last time, there was music playing in the beginning.

Well I'm glad to hear these dreams are "normal," but what do they mean?

It is not a abnormal one.
Most of the people wakeup while the dream is going violated.
But if you have some mental problem or
this situation attacks you again or frequently,
may be it is a abnormal one. If u r in the second stage, consult with a Qualified person (psychologists or doctors).
It is not a serious one.

Try sleeping with a light on.
