since you ask about "pending" there is no way to know unless you were a party to the suit.
my son is an employee of Kroger and he has not heard of anything "pending" that may involve current or former employees in a class-action.

Yes, there was a class action lawsuit alleging Kroger did not offer fair advancement opportunities to African American employees. It was started by 12 associates, 2 of which are still currently employed with Kroger. The case was settled early this week and in the settlement the 3 of the 12 originals get a $30,000 lump sum and then a class action letter will be sent out to inform all african american employees employed during the time frame that they are eligable to receive "restitution" from this lawsuit totaling no less thatn $50 each.

That suit was just settled and hit the news yesterday. They settled the suit for $16 million dollars, but they did not admit to any wrongdoing. The suit began back in 2001 by 12 african-american kroger employees.
