Will SUMMER SCHOOL GRADES be recorded on transcript?

I am taking an enrichment course in summer school. This means that I did not fail a course in school, but I am taking summer school because I want to be in a higher math class next year. The problem is, my summer school teacher apparently hates me, which is making the class very hard for me. I have a B- in that class as of now. I have a 4.0 GPA and I don't want my grade in summer school to ruin my GPA. My question is will my summer school grade be recorded on my transcript? Or will it just appear on my transcript that I passed the course since I am taking summer school at another high school. Should I just drop the class so my GPA won't be ruined?

no, i think that it has to appear in your transcript what grade you got. Considering that this course will get you to a higher math class, they will want to see later on what grade you got in the preperation for this class..
and i guess if you don't want it to appear in your GPA, then you should drop the class

and just to make sure... talk to your counselor or teacher

It depends on the state, school district and their policy. Call the school or ask the registrar. By the way, having a "ruined" GPA is not the end of the world. Some of the smartest people have low GPAs and it won't even take 5 years for it stop being important.
