so if i buy an unlocked phone i can take the sim card or w/e out of my current phone(sidekick3) and put it in another phone and it will work?
or what is the point or use of unlocked phone??

Yeah you can put your sim in another phone. T-Mobile won't come after you for using another phone. You could tell them and they wouldn't care. They still make money off your service.

Yes you can just simply pop the SIM card out of your sidekick and pop it into your new unlocked phone hope i helped

It should work fine...just put the SIM in another unlocked phone and it should just work fine.

it should work for calling and texting, you may have problems getting on Tzone depending on what phone you purchase.
