autoshift kits?

I saw that Browning nolonger offers their mechanical autoshifting system for bicycles and I was wondering where I could find anything else close to it that is still being sold to put on older or current bikes that don't have it since the bikes that do are a few thousand dollars. I like the idea and think it is a neat idea and I wouldn't mind putting it on my bike to aid in my commute each and every day.

I have seen auto shift bikes for well under $1000. I'll post when i find some. Never heard of one costing that much.

Heres the one that I saw on TV: http://www.landriderbikes.com/?src=google&gclid=CLa2sbWUm5QCFQS7sgodviVqtg

$400? And it really ain't worth that.

Bike shifting is soooo easy and effortless nowadays there is really no need for autoshifting.

That being said, don't believe the autoshift hype. They are truly horrible bikes.

If you are having trouble shifting, try the Shimano Nexus system.

It shifts standing still, and always get the gear. just move the little clicker the correct way.

They don't work like a biker wants it to work. It shifts when it wants to, not when you want to. You will be better off to study bicycle gear shifting, it's not rocket science.
