I dropped my Samsung Blackjack in a sink filled with water. Is it dead or can it be saved?
I've tried drying it out, but I won't turn on. When I put in the battery, all I get is a white screen.

either in the battery port or on the battery, there will be a sticker that is white with either colored lines, colored dots,or colored symbols(i.e. +'s).check that sticker.if it is red, that means your phone has gone bye-bye and its time to pay a visit to the phone store.if its purple or pink it should work.based on your description, its probably broken.(P.S. the sticker is the water damage indicator)

It will probably be okay because one time I dropped my house phone in my pool and within 24 hours it worked again. But again, that wasn't a cell phone. Best of luck.

It should. Just give it time to internally dry, about an hour or less. Same thing happened to my friend's.
