My Laptop jacks don't work?! Help me fix this!?

I have a Dell Inspiron 6000. After uploading windows Vista my earphone jacks STOPPED working.

I went to the Dell website, and downloaded a few updates but nothing worked. Anyone know how to fix this...?!?!

If you mean by "uploading" that you reinstalled Vista, then there is a big chance that your Audio driver is not properly installed, go to Dell website and search for your laptops Audio driver, after you find it install it on your system.
