Vicodin contains paracetamol (tylenol relative) and hydrocodone, but no codeine. And T3s have tylenol and codeine, but no hydrocodone.

However, people who are known to be sensitive to opiates like hydrocodone are advised to be vary careful when taking other opiate drugs like codeine. This is due to the risk that you may have an allergic reaction to drugs that are chemical relatives to codeine, as hydrocodone is.

I am allergic to morphine, but I can take any of the derivitives or any of the other meds in that "family".

Vicoden does not have codeine in it - it has hydrocodone and tylenol in it.

well vicodin is hydrocodone andd acetaminophen. codeine and vicodin are two different drugs, but act in the same way... i'm not so sure if that answers your question? but i think you're good and can take the tylenol
