Is Norman Insane?

After watching the final round of the british open yesterday i was almost in awww in the poor club choise and stupid desicisons norman made sunday.....am i the only one who thinks this????? Or did he just cave under pressure like Phil at wingfoot

Norman has always been a guy who in the final round doesn't like to play conservative. This style has won him a couple of majors but also cost him about a half dozen more. He was tiger before tiger obviously without the success!

People ( spectators ) are very prone to criticize some of the decisions made by Greg Norman in the Sunday round. Think what you will, but remember, he was in the final twosome with less practice and rounds played than most every other contestant. He wasn't as sharp but he drove the previous 3 days with a fair amount of success. His swing failed him more from lack of playing than pressure. So to the " Arm chair  generals of the links "  who shoot those spectacular rounds with their mouths, good luck in your endeavors.

I don't think he played all that badly.  He had a couple of putts lip out.  He also really hasn't been in this type of pressure cooker situation in a long time.  Also the course coupled with the wind was really tough on Sunday and only a few golfers were able to grind out good rounds.

i think his putter hurt him more than his driver.With that being said you would have thought that maybe after a couple of those wayward drives he might have thought different the next time he pulled that driver from the bag
