Find x in the trig equation: (Pi-x)Cosx + 2Sinx -Pi/2 =0?
Pi is 3.1416
Degrees, (180-x)cos x + (180)/(Pi)sinx=
90 degrees.

(π − x)·cos(x) + 2·sin(x) − ½π = 0
This cannot be solved algebraically.
This is because x appears both inside and outside of the trig functions.
Sadly, this form absolutely requires you to cheat... by using calculators and/or algorithms that will only yield numeric approximations. Its also possible to define some arbitrary new function to accommodate inverses of equations like this (see Lambert W-functions). But there is no way to isolate x explicitly in terms of everything else.
