Did anyone ever paid for this program(i know some people are falling victims of this scam)
If you did pay did your bank help get you back your money?
I don't have anti virus 2008 or any of these fake programs i just want to know if the banks or credit card companies help you?

I know lots of people are downloading it, but not actually putting in the credit card number. If they did, I'm sure the credit card company would not give you your money back and you would have to do a lot of explaining and begging before they would to prove your case. But, from my guess, they might not do anything with your credit card, cause when I was only 9, I gave a SS number to what I later found was scam, but my identity has not been lost. It is best to ask a credit card company to learn about scams and just to see what they might do like Visa. Just write an email asking if you fell for a scam would you get the money back. I already sent an email and waiting for a response, add me as a contact and I would tell you what they said after receiving a reply.

I'm not saying you did it, I just use the word you to get others understand if they read it.

Probably not, so be careful what you download. The whole idea is to surf the web carefully. You can never be 100% protected, maybe 95-98%, though. Hackers are always finding new ways to stick you in the hole. Only download from trusted websites. If you ever have Antivirus 2008 pop up, just click open the task manager and shut it down. Don't click any buttons it has.

Don't have a clue, I just knew how to remove the program and luckily my sister wasn't dumb enough to fall for paying them anything when she had it on her computer.
