How will we die if 2012 comes around and they say we'll all die?

First of all I don't believe it. I just know the Mayan Calendar ends 12/21/12 I am sure we will still carry on with life.
But to those who think we'll die, how will we die?
Will all of us just get a heart attack and die?
Will we all inflate like balloons and pop?(Sounds kinky to me)
Will there be a core explosion?
Will a black hole swallow us all?

There is no evidence of this happening.

Weilu C has a very sensible outlook and answer to this and I agree whole heartedly. The only thing I can add to his answer is to look up OTHER end of the world prediction dates and you will see there have been, literally, thousands upon thousands of predicted ends of time, including dates only as recent as a few months ago. But look, we're still here. The most famous one to look back on recently was the Y2K uproar. People thought then that the world would end too. Eight years has come and gone by and we're working on our 9th year of being a planet still thriving.

Just to show you how many predictions have been made, look at these links:

I'm sure if you look for more, you can find a lot more on the history of tried and failed "end of the world" predictions.

Relax. The Mayan calendar was built on a counting system so it isn't a coincidence that the Mayans placed the incident at 12/21/12 it is just a counting system it is in no way accurate except for the fact that the sun's 11 year cycle ends in 2012, but it has nothing to do with the end of the world if it really was the end of the world nobody would be able to predict it because it would happen at a random time and all this hype about 2012 is not helping with the problem what we all should be doing is helping the environment so that something like this doesn't happen. It is all a result of treating the environment poorly that will likely result in the end of the world in a few hundred years. If you ask me it's more likely the Mayans will go crazy after their calendar ends and nothing happens and many people settling in a Mars colony to see what really happens on 12/21/12

Although there are alternate rumors circling about an apocalypse that will bring all the pure christians to heaven but what would that have to do with the Mayan calendar try thinking about that theory when our calendar ends, and also I think God would spare us all it would be mean to just leave people starving and suffering on the ground

I'm thinking the original theory before the 2012 thing came along- the universe implodes upon itself.
The sun, supposedly, will expand and eat all the other planets (including Earth) up, and then shrink, becoming a white dwarf star. Then it will explode, and I think that the galaxy begins again with the extra stuff.
Hope I helped!!!
I know what you mean. The world is SOOO not ending in four years time. There would be signs.

We won't die. Something IS going to happen, but only because we all expect it to (people will make it happen).

There's no way for us to know what will happen, because it hasn't happened yet, but I don't think we're going to all die, and it's not the end of the world.

People should just relax. My grandmother is panicking about 2012. She's been telling me not to waste my time with college because the world will end 4 months before I graduate anyway. I'm like. "ok, so what the hell am I gonna do between now and then, just sit around on my fat ***? I don't think Mum, and Dad would like that..." Then she starts freaking out.

The government has solved the problem.

Our callenders are going to go straight from 2011 to 2013.
